Christmas cut offs
In order to receive your orders in time for Christmas, we recommend that you place your orders by the 9th of December (7th if shipping to WA or NT). This will ensure we can get your orders to the post before the cut off date set by AusPost. Pick up is always available.
Free Shipping for orders over $180.
Standard shipping for orders under 5kg and under $180 is a flat $10 fee.
Heavy good shipping (applies to limited stock) for large, bulky or heavy items, a $10 shipping fee will still apply regardless of order price.
Your order will be packed in 1-2 working days, and have a delivery estimate of 3-4 working days. Please note Western Australia and Tasmania may take longer. Delivery times will change at peak times of year - Christmas and Easter.
Please note Terrific Scientific is not responsible for items lost or undelivered while in transit. If you are worried about this please email firstname.lastname@example.org before you order, so we can organise insuring your package. Lost or undelivered items will not be replaced or refunded.
You can choose to pick up at our stores in Annandale NSW or Summer Hill NSW, just select this option at checkout. We will take 1-2 working days to pack your order. Once your order is ready we'll send you a notification. Please collect your order within 7 days from notification.

All orders will automatically be set for pick up at our Terrific Scientific in Annandale. However, if you would like to pick up at Monkey Puzzle in Summer Hill, please specify in the notes at checkout. See our opening hours here (Annandale) or here (Summer Hill).

We are sure that you will love your purchase from Terrific Scientific, however, if for any reason you don’t, please see below for our returns policy.
All unused products may be returned for a full refund or exchange providing ALL of the following conditions are met:
1. The returned product is received by Terrific Scientific within 20 days from the date of initial shipment.
2. Products have been unused, unwashed, and are returned in original packaging in original condition.
If the above conditions are met, please use the following instructions when returning/exchanging your product:
1. Contact - firstname.lastname@example.org to request a return/exchange, explaining the reason. Please also include your order number.
2. Once a return/exchange has been authorised, the product should be sent in its original packaging to the address listed during email correspondence, within 20 days of authorisation. We suggest using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for any goods lost in transit.
Once we receive returned goods and they prove to be in original condition, we will happily process the refund/exchange and will confirm this via email.
Please note that Terrific Scientific is not responsible for transit costs for returned items - these are at the customer’s expense unless a product is faulty. We recommend all returns be sent via tracked postage as we are not responsible for items lost or undelivered.
